With the great and continued support of the City of Markham and the Chinese Real Estate Brokerage Association (CCREBA), our annual Chinese New Year Celebration at the City of Markham has been successfully held at the Civic Centre for the last 14 years.

This special event is one of the few events that the City of Markham co-host with a non-profit organization. Our Mayor is adamant that we throw this event in order to bring the Chinese community to the main stream market.

This year, our 15th year, will be call CNY 2013 Winter Carnival. There will be lots of fun, performances and activities for everybody, families and friends. Our endeavor will be a main stream event with Chinese and Canadian contents throughout the day.

Activities include Mayor's eye-dotting ceremony, dragon dance, and God of Fortune, cultural dance, live stage performances, lai-see giveaway and public outdoor skating. We are hoping this event will be a family celebrating event for all of GTA population and our goal is make this event a meaningful 'Family Day' weekend!

We have attracted more than 2,000 families to our event every year and we are sure that there will have more families from main stream and ethnic communities participating to our Winter Carnival this year.
