Youth Employment Start (YES!) Program

In partnership with Markham Public Library, Centre for Immigrant and Community Services invites you to say…

Y.E.S. ! (Youth Employment Start)

Newcomer youth ages 13-29 are welcome to attend. Program is offered at no cost to newcomer youth.

In six sessions, youth will prepare for job interviews by developing their resume and cover letter. Youth will use job search sites and LinkedIn to find part-time jobs. They will participate in a real-world networking event.

The CICS “YES! Program” will be taking place at the newly-built Aaniin Library (located near 14th Avenue and Middlefield Road).
