World Migratory Bird Day

Join Parks Canada and the Toronto Zoo as we celebrate World Migratory Bird Day in Rouge National Urban Park. Come celebrate the return of migratory birds in the Rouge and help us kickoff of the 2018 Toronto Bird Celebration! This free outdoor event invites birders of all ages and levels to enjoy a full morning of guided birding outings, activities and live bird shows.

• Live birds of prey shows and displays by Wild Ontario
• Expert-led guided birding outings (registration required)
• Club Parka "Birding 101" programming for kids!
• Learn how to start your own native wildflower garden the Pickering Bloomers and Britches Heritage Gardeners
• Self-guided trail games and bird scavenger hunt
• Face painting
• Birding crafts
• Interactive displays by Earth Rangers and the Toronto Wildlife Centre!

• 8 a.m. - Guided birding outings*
• 9:00 a.m. - Guided birding outings*
• 9:15 a.m. - Birding with Parka outing
• 10:00 a.m. - Wild Ontario Birds of Prey show
• 10:30 a.m. - Guided birding outings*
• 11:15 a.m. - Birding with Parka outing
• 12:00 p.m. - Wild Ontario Birds of Prey show
• 1:00 p.m. - More World Migratory Bird Day activities at the Toronto Zoo!
