Markham Garden & Horticultural Society Meetings & Flower Shows
The Markham Garden and
Horticultural Society, growing
since 1920, brings fellow
gardeners together to provide an
opportunity to show flowers,
fruit and vegetables grown in
our own gardens. We have design
classes in the flowers shows for
those who like flower arranging.
We offer opportunities for
gardeners to exchange ideas and
techniques. Each month a speaker
provides gardening related
You do not need to have a garden
to be a member but just a love
of nature. We have a plant sale
early in May and alternate each
year between a garden tour and a

no meetings in January, July or
December. Our meeting location
is the Markham Village Community
Centre, 6041 Highway 7 East,
map at the
southeast corner of Highway
7 and Main Street Markham. Refreshments are
served at 7.30 p.m. and the
meetings begin at 8.00 p.m.
