Jane's Walk Markham
Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs.
Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.
We have two walks in Markham this year:
1. Walk Title: "Early Thornhill: An Immigrant's Perspective"
Saturday, 4th May 2019, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Explore the sites and heritage buildings in the historic village of Thornhill, through the experience of early settlers.
Walk Leader: David Rawcliffe
Meeting Location: Thornhill Village Library, 10 Colborne Street, L3T 1Z6 map
2: Walk Title: "New Insights into Old Markham Village"
