Markham District Baseball Association

The Markham District Baseball Association has offered youth baseball for almost 35 years to the City of Markham and the surrounding area. We offer boys and girls (ages 5 to 25) programs that suit all needs.

  • Recreational ball at the House League Level (T-ball to Midget/Junior levels)

  • A higher calibre at the Select Level

  • Very competitive travel teams at the Rep Level

The MDBA is a member of York-Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA), Select Ontario Baseball Association (SOBA), and Baseball Ontario (OBA).

Full uniforms (T-ball: T-shirt and hat only), as well as team photos, are provided as part of the fee to all registered players. The season runs from mid-May until early September.

Markham Ontario Recreational Slow Pitch League

Markham Ontario Recreational Slow Pitch League

Our league is a men's recreational fun league.
Players are individually drafted to new teams at the start of each year. 

We have 12 teams and play approx 26-28 regular season games plus a league tournament and playoffs. 

We play Sunday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30, 8:00 or 9:30 p.m. (May through to September). 

Games are played at Markham Centennial Park, Mint Leaf Park & High Gate Park. 

We hold several summer events including Family Day, Barry Sloan Tournament (5 games) and Championship Day in September with a BBQ and Beer Tent (LCBO Licensed Event) and an Awards/Ladies night in October.

Thornhill Baseball Club

Thornhill Baseball Club 

Throughout its history, the Club has offered, and continues to offer, recreational and competitive baseball (hardball) for boys and girls beginning as early as 5 years of age, from T-Ball to Senior levels in House League, Select League and Rep League. 

The Club’s season runs from mid-May till early September.

Generally, the Club has served, and continues to serve, the area known as Thornhill in those areas known as the City of Vaughan and the City of Markham.  Specifically, the area as approved by the York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA), bounded on the east by the north-south line of Highway 404, bounded on the south by the east-west line of Steeles Avenue, bounded on the west by the north-south line of Keele Street, and bounded on the north by the northern most east-west line of Highway 7 and Langstaff Road.

Unionville Men's Slo-Pitch League

The Unionville Slo Pitch League was started in 1974 as a recreational men's league for players of all abilities.

We field 18 teams in the regular division with player ages ranging from 25-60+.  We also have 10 teams in our Masters division with player ages ranging from 40-65+.

On May 13, 2019 we'll be starting our 45th consecutive year of slo-pitch play.  Between mid-May and early September, the regular division plays 25 regular season games and 21 in the Masters division.

Unionville Minor Softball Association

Unionville Minor Softball Association

The Unionville Minor Softball Association (UMSA) is open to any girl or boy in and around the Markham or Unionville area.

Games are held weekly - always on the same night. UMSA has served Unionville / Markham with fastball-softball since 1969 and runs between May and early September.

The UMSA is a not for profit organization, run by volunteers and funded by registration fees and generous sponsors. We are fully insured. Permit fees are paid to the Town of Markham for the use of local diamonds, located within the area bordered by Highway 7 / McCowan/Major Mac/Woodbine. We also encourage youth, 13 & older, to sign up to umpire or volunteer as each year there are several opportunities to get involved within the community.
