Meeting
Plan to attend our March 31, 2012 meeting. 2012 is the 200th anniversary of the "War of 1812". Members of the Tool Group will show and discuss tools of this era. This will include firearms and settlers' tools. Members are invited to bring tools of this era for the "theme display".
The meeting also features our "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Contest". Members will bring in 3 tools mounted on bristol board with a brief description of the tools, how they are related, and , of course, why one of each is good, bad, or ugly. Entries will be judged and prizes awarded.
The pre-meeting starts at approximately 9:00 a.m. with coffee and munchies. Tool trading, conversation, and the Silent Auction make it an interesting time. Bring your tools, carpentry supplies, wood, odds and sods to sell. The meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 12:15 and includes our guest speaker, No Tool Fools (guess what this tool is), Bring and Brag (show and tell what you've picked
up), What's It's (bring your tools that you'd like to identify), Raffle Draw and other activities.
Guests are welcomed and are at no charge. Please bring a friend!
