Scaryfest

Friday, October 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 29 & Sunday, October 30 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
 
Location:
Markham Museum, 9350 Highway 48 (2 km north of Highway 7)  map

Ages 10 and under

Join us as we transform our 25-acre site into a ghoulishly grand Halloween town perfect for children 10 and under! With your treat bag in tow, trick-or-treat around the Museum grounds where you will encounter lively and not-so-lively characters! Have your fortune told by our Fortune Teller, try out some Super Hero Science, and dance the night away at our Monster Mash Bash! Come in costume, have fun and enjoy the family activities. Don’t forget to share your pictures from #MarkhamScaryfest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Parking is limited. Additional parking available at Mount Joy GO Station (north of Markham Museum on the east side of Markham Road)

*Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. There will be no guided tours during Scaryfest. The Museum will operate on special event hours only during this time (listed above).

Our Fall Exhibition Lineup

This season, we are showcasing three exciting exhibitions. Enjoy FREE access to the travelling exhibition, Echoes in the Ice: Finding Franklin’s Ship, our feature exhibition, From the Ground Up: Archaeological Discoveries from the Markham Museum Grounds, and Construction City, which has been extended to Dec. 31 by popular demand!
