Special groundbreaking ceremony for the new Angus Glen Indoor Tennis Facility - one of Markham's seven new projects at 2:00 p.m.
Join Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Members of Council and representatives from the Canadian and Ontario governments at a special open house to feature exciting new plans for Markham.
Seven new projects are about to get underway in Markham from infrastructure funds made available through a municipal, provincial and federal funding partnership.
Learn more about the seven projects and speak to the project planners about changes you can expect to see by 2011 to our community centres, new recreation facilities, and features that will improve our energy efficiency, accessibility to Town facilities and emergency operations.

2. Markham Civic Centre - New outdoor artificial ice surface and supporting facilities.

5. State-of-the-art emergency operations centre for Markham.
