The 27th Annual Unionville
Olde Tyme Christmas

Candlelight Parade |

The 2007 Candlelight Parade, held on Friday,
December 7 on Main Street Unionville, was as always an enjoyable
event for all ages and successfully kicked off a weekend of events
in the 27th Olde Tyme Christmas in this historic town.
Few places can replicate an old-fashioned
Christmas as realistically as Main Street Unionville. Village
charm, quaint architecture and small town courtesy are the
hallmarks of the town’s most popular winter attraction.
Friday evening's parade, highlighted by an appearance by
jolly old Santa Claus himself, was only the beginning of a three
day festival that included Victorian-style carolers, streetlamps,
sleigh bells, and carriage rides . . . Christmas card scenes that
came alive.
But Olde Tyme Christmas on Main Street
Unionville did not end on Sunday. The spirit continues throughout
the holiday season with carriage rides and beautifully decorated
streets, and, of course, a wide variety of shops catering to all
your Christmas needs.
