Pathways to Success, Series 1: Volunteerism and Future Career Choices

 (joint program between Markham Public Library and CICS Immigrant Youth Centre (IYC))

Location: Thornhill Community Centre Library
              7755 Bayview Ave.  map

Wednesdays, April 6 - June 8, 2016

(10 sessions + a one-day volunteer event)

4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Supports immigrant youth to be successful beyond school. Designed for immigrant youth from diverse backgrounds to learn how to create better opportunities and a brighter future for themselves by means of volunteer and job opportunities.

Enhance your personal, social, and job search skills. Understand the connection between volunteerism and your future career. Learn how to be successful beyond school!

Target Audience: Youth between the ages of 15 – 21 years (no restriction on immigrant status – can be permanent resident, visa student or citizen to join)
