Ontario Electricity Support Program(OESP) Information Session

(joint project between Markham Public Library and The Housing Help Centre)

The OESP is an Ontario Energy Board program which lowers electricity bills for lower-income households.

The OESP provides a monthly credit to eligible customers based on household income and size.

The OESP credits are applied directly to eligible customers’ bills.

Language: Presented in Farsi

Registration: At no cost for newcomers.

Ontario Electricity Support Program will cover topics such as:
 · Who can apply
 · What if I don’t have an electricity account?
 · How much will the monthly on-bill credit amount be?
 · Participants will learn ways to obtain support from the public library, and discover library services and resources
