This session provides information on The Ministry of Labours’ Employment Standards Act, 2000 (Act) which sets out the rights and responsibilities of both employees and employers in Ontario workplaces. The Act covers such employment standards as minimum wage, overtime pay, public holiday pay, vacation and termination, and leave of absence. It also contains provisions that apply to people who are seeking employment with temporary help agencies.
