Welcome to the Official Web Site of the Markham Guild of Village Crafts.
We offer a variety of fun and enjoyable craft classes and workshops for those in the York Region communities of Markham, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury, King, southern regions of Toronto, Scarborough, and Durham Region of Uxbridge, Pickering, and Whitby.

We have taught over 40 crafts in 40 years and attempt to offer classes that are current with what is popular in the “Crafting World” as well as offering classes in the traditional crafts. Our teachers have years of experience and are eager to share their knowledge. If you do not see a class being offered in your area of interest, then we encourage you to call the Guild at (905) 294-7421 or email us at
markhamguild@rogers.com. If there is sufficient interest in a craft, we will try to locate a teacher for it. The majority of classes are offered in the Fall period, September 1 to December 15.
Group classes and workshops give participants an opportunity to spend some quality time together while learning a new skill. You may find it so enjoyable that you will make it a regular event.

Classes are open to members and non-members.
Please register with the individual instructor for the respective course.
REGISTRATION: Please register with
the individual instructor for the respective course. Students must register 2 week prior to class start date. Most classes require additional materials fees
which are not included in the prices stated unless otherwise
stated. Validate times and additional fees with each instructor when
registering. Cheques should be made payable to: Markham Guild of Village Crafts.
REFUND POLICY: Full Refund: If the program you choose is cancelled by the
Guild.
Partial Refund: $5.00 administration and material fees are not refundable if
cancelled by the student.
No Refund: If student cancels later
than one (1) week prior to the beginning of
the course.
