KasheDance "Facing Home: Love and Redemption"

KasheDance "Facing Home: Love and Redemption"

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Location: Flato Markham Theatre
171 Town Centre Boulevard  map

This contemporary dance investigates the global impact of the messages behind Bob Marley’s songs – humanity’s struggle and inspiration toward love, redemption and hope. Facing Home is meant to touch migrant populations, generate change, and ignite the LGBTQ community and their supporters. Choreographers Chris Walker and Kevin Ormsby hope their social justice work will inspire communities to initiate conversation and make room for LGBTQ narratives of displacement from home. Facing Home helps us all return to our true nature… One Love, One Heart.

“Get up, stand up, stand up for your rights.”~ Bob Marley

Tickets: Prime $49; Regular $44
Students: $15
