Established in 1992, Markham Youth Theatre's mission is to give young people the opportunity to focus their talents and aspirations in the fields of acting, production, musical, and technical theatre. MYT is a non-profit community theatre company run by youth for youth that strives to bring artistically challenging, professional-calibre productions to the Markham area.

Markham Youth Theatre is located in Markham, Ontario, Canada in the hearts and minds of the youth.
