Daffodil Days
March 28 to April 1, 2012
Every three minutes another Canadian is faced with fighting cancer.
The Canadian Cancer Society is asking you to join the fight against cancer by giving generously when you see one of our volunteers in your community selling daffodils or canvassing at your door. Donations collected will be used to support people living with cancer, fund research to outsmart cancer and prevent cancer before it starts.
Join the fight against
cancer by purchasing your bright yellow daffodils or our new daffodil
pin. Volunteers will be selling live flowers and/or pins in
communities across Ontario. Help us fight back during Daffodil
Days – March 28 through to April 1, 2012.
You can also fight back by wear a daffodil pin to show your support for someone on a cancer journey. United by the daffodil, we will show that no one has to face cancer alone.
To some, the daffodil is just a flower. To us, it’s a symbol of strength and courage. A symbol of life. It says we will not give up. It says we will fight back. It says we will beat cancer.
March 28 & 29, 2012 - delivery of daffodil blooms to corporations, businesses, retail locations, and schools.
March 30 to April 1, 2012 – sale of daffodil blooms and pins to the general public at select retail locations.
Location: your school, place of work, local mall, LCBO, grocery store,
etc.
