CoderDojo Markham: Summer Inventors Program at Angus Glen Library

Tuesday, August 2 to Friday, August 5, 2016

About the Program

Join us as we invite students from York University's School of the Arts, Media, Performance, and Design to guide you through the steps to create a game.

Over the four days you will get to work with circuitry to learn about physical computing to build a game controller and you will be introduced to a coding platform to create your basic game and develop levels. You will be given the opportunity to put it all together and play the games that you have created.

Day 1: Tuesday August 2nd, 2016, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Day 2: Wednesday August 3rd, 2016, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Day 3: Thursday August 4th, 2016, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Day 4: Friday August 5th, 2016, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Participation
This program is designed for coders 9-12 years old

Parents are encouraged to stay in the library, but do not need to stay in the room for these sessions.
