Black History Month Recognition Ceremony

An invitation to attend The Town of Markham's Annual Black History Month Recognition Ceremony

The Town of Markham's Race Relations Committee has worked in partnership with the York Region District School Board and the Markham African Caribbean Association to plan a special ceremony to recognize distinguished Canadian citizens of African descent who have made noteworthy contributions to the Markham community.

The Mayor and Markham councillors, members of the Markham African Caribbean Association, members of Markham's Race Relations Committee, York Region District School Board staff, trustees, students and award recipients will be involved in this ceremony.

Please join us for refreshments in the Great Hall at the conclusion of the program.
